Lemon Pie

In this new post from The Savory Spoon, I’ll teach you how to make a homemade lemon pie. Before we start, I want to clarify that this dessert doesn’t require an oven and serves approximately ten portions.


Ingredients:



1 can of condensed milk (395 g).

1 can of evaporated milk (360 g).

Lemon juice (200 ml) – approximately 10 lemons.

2 packs of María cookies (or graham crackers).


Before starting the recipe, we need to wash our hands to avoid contaminating the ingredients. Now its time to COOKING!

1. First, strain the lemon juice to remove all the seeds.

2. Blend the lemon juice with the condensed milk and evaporated milk until you get a smooth mixture, which will be the base of the dessert.

3. In a baking dish, place a layer of whole cookies, followed by a layer of the mixture, making sure there are no gaps between them. Repeat the process until the dish is full.

4. The last layer should be the mixture. You can decorate it with lemon zest, cookie pieces, or a touch of cinnamon.

5. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and refrigerate for 3 hours to set.
