Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo Pasta
Hello, friends! Welcome to the first recipe on this cooking blog: Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo Pasta. This recipe serves five people, but if you want to make a smaller or larger portion, you can adjust the ingredient amounts accordingly.
Let's start by listing the ingredients needed for this delicious recipe:
8 ounces of fettuccine pasta
1 cup of fresh or frozen broccoli
2 tablespoons of butter
16 ounces of boneless chicken breast
2 teaspoons of chicken bouillon powder
1 ¼ cups of water
½ cup of skim milk
¼ cup of your preferred cream
½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese
¼ teaspoon of black pepper (optional)
Now that we have all the ingredients ready, it's time for our favorite part… COOKING!
First of all, wash your hands thoroughly to avoid contaminating the ingredients.
1. Cook the fettuccine according to the package instructions. Add the broccoli during the last 4 minutes of cooking. Drain.
2. Heat the butter in a pan. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown, stirring frequently.
3. In a blender, combine the milk, cheese, chicken bouillon, and cream. Once blended, pour the mixture into a saucepan, then add the fettuccine, chicken, and black pepper. Let it simmer until it thickens.
4. Finally, serve on a nice plate and garnish with a little extra Parmesan cheese to your liking. Now, it's time to enjoy our Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo Pasta!
