Chicken Tacos
Hello, my bloggers!
In today’s blog, I bring you an easy, quick, and delicious recip for those days when time is short, but we don’t want to sacrifice flavor. Chicken Tacos are perfect for an improvised meal. The portions in this recipe are for two people, but if you need more, you can increase the ingredient amounts. If you need less, feel free to adjust them to your liking.
Ingredients:
1 chicken breast (or 200 g of shredded chicken)
1 tablespoon of oil
½ teaspoon of salt
½ teaspoon of garlic powder
½ teaspoon of cumin
½ teaspoon of paprika (optional)
4 corn or flour tortillas
½ avocado, sliced (optional)
½ cup of chopped onion and cilantro
Sauce to taste (green, red, or guacamole)
Before we begin, don’t forget to wash your hands to avoid contaminating the ingredients. Now, let’s get started!
Preparation:
1. Cook the chicken: Cut the chicken breast into thin strips or small cubes. In a hot pan with oil, cook the chicken with salt, garlic powder, cumin, and paprika. Let it brown well for about 5-7 minutes so it stays juicy and full of flavor.
2. Heat the tortillas: While the chicken is cooking, warm the tortillas in another pan for a few seconds on each side. This will make them more flexible and flavorful.
3. Assemble the tacos: Fill each tortilla with the cooked chicken and add the chopped onion, cilantro, and avocado.
4. Serve and enjoy: Pair with your favorite sauce and enjoy these freshly made tacos.
These tacos are perfect for any occasion, whether it’s a quick dinner or a light lunch. Plus, you can customize them with whatever ingredients you have at home—so there are no excuses not to try them! If you want me to make a specific recipe, leave a comment.
See you next Wednesday with another easy and delicious recipe!
